Job Description


Role and Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business to define, document, oversee and implement full life cycle processes, procedures, and standards for BGE HOME systems
  • Assist users with business application questions and issues
  • Work directly with business users and IT to solve problems, both operational and technical
  • Collaborate with the business to document requirements and test plans
  • Oversee user stories from creation through deployment and training
  • Lead users in testing
  • Develop business process flows
  • Identify improvement opportunities to benefit the business
  • Assist with change management projects, including the researching, implementation, and assessment from start to finish
  • Ensure project goals are met and executed by working with numerous resources
  • Ability to acknowledge and address client issues and effectively resolve these issues
  • Lead small efforts independently
  • Be a key contributor on cross functional teams and help coordinate contractors for short term efforts
  • Availability to occasionally work after hours on deployments or to help resolve issues.
  • Perform data quality cleanup activities
  • Hybrid Position - ability to report to the office one to two days per week. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, performing business analysis, process design, creating requirements and specification documentation and creating test plans. 
  • Advanced analytical capability
  • Ability to partner with key stakeholders including internal and external customers and vendors
  • Capacity to work both independently and on a team
  • Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities
  • Ability to coach and lead the business in developing and maintaining process documentation
  • Knowledge of databases, Oracle and/or SQL
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
  • MS Office Suite and Visio
  • Project Management Software – e.g. Azure DevOps

Preferred Qualification and Skills

  • Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience with EDI
  • Experience with contract, billing, field service, CRM and ERP systems.
