Job Description


Role and Responsibilities

  • Independently partner with the business to define, document, oversee and implement full life cycle processes, procedures, and standards for BGE HOME systems
  • Oversee and lead change management projects, including the researching, implementation, and assessment from start to finish
  • Perform unit testing and oversee business testing
  • Run custom SQL queries to extract data from existing databases to answer business questions
  • Work with the business and IT to help develop Power BI and SSRS reports
  • Ensure project goals are met and executed by working with numerous resources
  • Lead small projects independently
  • Work with the offshore development for short term efforts
  • Produce Entity Relationship Diagrams
  • This position requires attention to detail and the ability to solve problems, both operational and technical

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a business or a computer science field and 3+ years of experience performing business analysis, process design, creating requirements and specification documentation and creating test plans. 
  • Advanced analytical capability with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to partner with key stakeholders, including vendors.
  • Work both independently and on a team.
  • Ability to lead IT resources on short term projects and efforts
  • Capacity to effectively multi-task and handle competing priorities
  • Experience with Power BI and MS SQL
  • Experience eliciting requirements from non-technical individuals
  • Produce training documentation
  • Lead the business in developing and maintaining process documentation
  • Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
  • MS Office suite, Excel, Visio, Project, etc.

Preferred Qualification and Skills

  • Experience with contract, billing, field service, CRM, and ERP systems. 
    • Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
  • Experience with Power Platform services (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
    • Experience may be substituted
  • EDI experience

Work Location

  • Remote during COVID restrictions
  • Ability to work onsite (Baltimore metro area), after COVID restrictions are lifted.

Team members will be onsite two days per week or more.
