PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION


                This role is responsible for optimization of product offerings and effective communication and positioning of value proposition for all MM Sales and Marketing channels. Provides continuous evaluation and refinement of the MM product suite through collaboration with marketing, sales and innovation teams. In addition to utilizing the cross functional team insights, this role will also rely on ongoing market testing and analysis of product mix, sales conversion rates, and multi-product relationship metrics. Will work closely with sales and marketing channel managers to define strategy by partner and or channel, manage sales scripting, rebuttals, assist with training development. Drive intentional, cohesive engagement and communication strategy with our MM Customers by defining and aligning messaging across channels and functional teams with focus on optimizing opportunities, driving deeper customer relationships, and creating best in class customer experience.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Collaborate with Sales /marketing teams as well as legal/regulatory as needed to create and manage sales/marketing scripting, rebuttals, training, etc. that balance optimal sales effectiveness while ensuring full compliance with market and regulatory rules                     

  • Ongoing sales call reviews and monitoring for understanding opportunities of improvement either in agent/vendor performance, product positioning, or sales/marketing scripting.    

  • Coordinate field testing for differentiated approaches to product positioning measuring relative effectiveness and continuing to iterate and refine.                      

  • Ongoing evaluation and analysis of sales conversion rates, product mix, muli-product relationships across sales and marketing channels that will help inform continual refinement               

  • Assist channel managers with sales agent coaching, training and development.                  

  • Drive alignment in messaging and cohesive communication and customer engagement strategy cross functionally. Optimize balance across sales/marketing opportunities, customer education, and exceptional customer service.                            

  • Collaborate with innovation teams to understand forthcoming products to plan for launch and implementation strategy                             

               

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

               
  • Minimum 8 years of sales or marketing related experience

  • Proven project management skills
  • Proficiency with the entire MS Suite. Advanced MS Excel skills preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully cross functionally within a group

  • Ability to support clients in a dynamic business environment with rapid change

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organization and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline with commensurate experience

  • Sales, marketing, or channel management experience related to product positioning

  • Proven project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully cross functionally
